The IPOS 13th World Congress of Psycho-Oncology Planning Committee is Accepting proposals for Psychosocial Academy workshops at the World Congress, to be held 16 – 20 October 2011, in Antalya, Turkey. The Congress is dedicated to Integrating the Psychosocial Domain into Routine Cancer Care: Bridging Continents and Cultures for Global Cancer Support . Academy workshops will be held on Sunday and Monday, 16 – 17 October 2011, and will be a mix of two-day, one-day and half-day sessions.
Workshops should:
- Be evidence-based
- Be interactive
- Employ a variety of teaching modalities
- Focus on teaching skills or concepts that can be comfortably grasped in the prescribed timeframe
If you presented a workshop at the IPOS Psychosocial Academy in either Vienna or Quebec City, your workshop automatically will be considered for the Academy at the 13th World Congress. If you held a workshop at either of these meetings and would like to update your workshop abstract, feel free to submit a new proposal.
