Top 12 of the Best Movies of 2010

After three years of attending movies regularly quasi-military, it is time that we (including me) been waiting for the moment that Matt completely based on subjective judgments without any formal basis a selection of the 12 best films of the year and everyone went celebrates its findings.

It should make them aware that my post of 12 best films of 2009 was hailed universally becoming the most visited post in the history of this blog, surpassing the 14,000 unique readings (and that only since June of 2010, as no statistics have been saved in previous months), statistics showing the world and critical snobs who, as always, I have the right and they are wrong.

This year I attended the movie 54 times (2 less than the previous year, although I must say that there were several re-watches , which is quite unusual for me because I do not usually watch the same movie more than once ) and among them I have chosen a top 12 this year.

rigor Clarifications:
- not the 12 best films of 2010 literal and strictly speaking, but is 12 that I thought better of each month (ie one per month), can have a particular month where there were 3 excellent films but has only one (the best of them) and a month where they were all bad and just enter one (the best of them), this year in particular was very irregular, as had months was only 2 times and months where I was 9, which will increase the randomness of this list.
- Movies not necessarily correspond to the month of its release, but the month that saw them.
- If you do not agree I do not, you're wrong and I do not.
- Near the end of the year I stopped going to the movies obsessively so I may have lost classics in November and December, c'est la vie .

Having completed formularies, here is the 2010 ranking according to Matt, enjoy or detéstenlo, both make me happy:

12 - March: All are well
flee Floor films you tears from plant promotional posters, in this case the poster did not seem to sell sadness so I decided to watch the movie and ran into a moving story hard to forget. Robert DeNiro classy sell us their interpretation of a lone parent discovering that their children's lives are not what they imagined and touches our hearts, leaving several heartwarming scenes to remember. Not the kind of movie I usually do, but boy it was worth.

11 - January: The Vampire Apprentice
I've always been an infidel of the great fantasy sagas, mostly adaptations of overpriced books, I went to see the Vampire Apprentice just because there was no choice and went with an excellent taste. With a digestible and well-told story, endearing characters (please, there was a girl monkey, can ask for anything more?) And a sardonic humor in the film, became my favorite of January by launching an interesting year.

10 - February: Armored
This movie was so good that a couple of weeks later there was a similar situation in real life, when a subject stole an armored personnel carrier (I'm sure it is completely related ), its suspenseful story and the actions of Captain Bezu Fache (Jean Reno), Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) and Peter Petrelli (Milo Ventimiglia) left me amazed and prevented me from taking off the eye of the screen throughout the film. Super advisable to spend time entertaining, but please do not repeat it again in real life.

09 - May: A night out
series Steve Carell does it again, I do not know if the concept was new but it worked well and at various levels, see the development of the relationship between Phil and Claire immersed in an absurd and dangerous situation brought several gags and memorable moments (like the scene of the photo with Will.i.am) that contributed for the film to enter the ranking.

08 - April: How to Train Your Dragon? 3D
A very tender story that deserves everyone, child or not, we keep an eye, with a trailer that sold poorly became probably the surprise of the year. His story is touching not only on the presentation of well-built characters but also provides an inspirational story with positive messages about friendship and perseverance, last but not least the excellent animation (there are scenes that are almost photorealistic, particularly remember that in Hippo and Chimney to fly over the ocean) and 3D round this gem. If you want more detail you can read the review I wrote in Pregnant .

07 - October: Law Abiding Citizen
montecristiana
A complete history where Gerard Butler shows again that annoy the King Leonidas is a mistake. The premise is simple and delicious (as in all stories montecristianas, it is worth reminding, are my favorites): A guy is happy, other guys get involved with what he loves most (in this case, your family), is a victim of injustice until it finally comes back and kills them all. Exquisite and, as such, no more turns. Special bonds raise and leave the audience curious to know if the protagonist will he manage to fulfill his revenge? and how are we doing?. An aside, if I enjoyed very much the way it catches up with the main cause of their misery, do I have psychological problems?, Leave it there.

06 - June: Toy Story 3
masterpiece. I went to see this movie just to have grounds to criticize (I have not seen neither one, or two) and as few times I shut my mouth, to top it off, touched my heart and left me crying (literally). Superb film that touches to the deepest fibers even the most painted, everyone should see it. ALL, if you did not see the above does not matter, go look at it now. Bebot special recognition for having the most candelejonamente funny name year.

05 - December: The Social Network
Epic movie, my job, my studies, my view of life today, and the moment I saw it, contributed greatly to the enjoy more than all of you. I loved, I loved her dearly and detected thousands of similarities, elements and references that only increased my satisfaction at seeing it. Also contributed greatly to enrich certain terms and phrases ultra imaginary guild I belong, therefore, were born "The Winklevoss style", "Saverin Maneuver" and "women only serve to set fire to things" ( I was not angry, I love girls).

04 - September: The Expendables
The fantasy of everyone who likes action movies of yesteryear, a must for any male movie capitalist is respected. The Expendables kept all the look and feel of the movies that try to honor, sumémosle the roster that brought (please, was to Dolph Lundgren, Dolph Lundgren mothafucking ), inside jokes that were released (impossible for any wrestling fan to miss the reference to Cold Stone and wife-beater ), the timing adequate, successful cameos on the scene that brings together the big three (Bruce, Arnold and Sylvester) and we have more than a highly recommended film for those addicted to the genre. This film is the top of the movies for males, is so manly that I left after seeing a beard and all became pregnant women in the audience. Honorable mention to another brilliant performance from Mickey Rourke. Why is not higher?, lack of Jean Claude Van Damme and Steven Seagal is fairly inexcusable.

03 - November: Machete
Series B
pure mastered a combination of films from the film Ghost with rogue seasoned with a dash of Tarantino is one of those movies good to pretend that is they are so bad they are good, the footage we see Danny Trejo (embodying the Mexican male) kill unorthodox ways and having a fairly orthodox. He is accompanied by atypical characters and twisted atmosphere surrounding absurd but delightful semi-chicha (Worth Zayas comedies), and crown a mix of clichés scenes, epic moments Latino market and a genuine atmosphere exploited until the end terminating in a final battle that really pumps adrenaline the viewer. The best part?, When a Mexican man pushing a cart joins the battle.

02 - August: Kick-Ass
awesome movie. I do not know what else to say, is a film that has to be seen to understand that everything is fine with it. Some notes: Hit-Girl stole the show completely, and the bloody excess was warmly welcomed. The constant dose black humor, black humor and stupid humor is highly appreciated gifts. The development of the characters and the visual display were remarkable, their effects on viewers are comparable to the intake of ten cans of Redbull. The development of capture and emotional history. McLovin McLovin never cease to be. And the scene where Kick-Ass Jetpack makes use of to destroy, literally, to their enemies, will be recorded in the retina of the world for a long time.

01 - July: The A-Team
The new version of the Magnificent is that Matt gets the gold this year, I had my doubts but ultimately it I conquered. A fitting tribute to the memorable series, kept pristine essence of the characters while dragging incredible adventures. Just look at the initial stage the specific presentation of each to note that we are facing a credible tribute, all doubt was dispelled and we all got off their guard with the rest of the film, a completely popping footage motivates be seen more than once (and why not, more than two). With conviction and we can say that the great are back, and fans are already beginning to salivate at the possibilities of a sequel, which while I have scenes like the tank and rescue times like Murdoch, will give them big bucks and us many emotions. I love it when a plan comes together!.
